Great articulation of some of these themes as per usual, Rob. I think one category in which PEI-based startups can succeed is as web entrepreneurs. Movements like the Small Business Web http://www.thesmallbusinessweb.com/ show that even small teams can sell products & services to the millions of other small businesses.

Hi, my name is Craig Abbott and I am the president of union local 102 for the Canadian Association of Professional Employees (CAPE). We are looking for a space to hold a one time conference call on Wednesday, March 7 from 12pm – 1pm. There would likely be a maximum of 15 people but it would probably be less than 10. We would need a room that could hold us all and that would have a phone suitable for a conference call. We would be calling a toll free number for the call. What would the fee be for this type of use? Any information you can provide would be appreciated. Thanks!
